the maker: Lun, is a Thai artist and illustrator currently based in Bangkok, Thailand. She studied Illustration and graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2020. Her works are colorful, whimsical, and dreamlike, often inspired by the forms of nature, her surroundings, and everyday life experiences.

Lun explores the relationship between imagination and reality through playful visual narratives, working across a variety of mediums including digital art, watercolor, tufted rugs, ceramics, and more.

why I love it: I love the texture, graphic quality and colors of Lun's artwork. The linework expressed in her art style is so compelling and the motifs are so unique to her own world! The unique flora and fauna that Lun comes up with is so amazing. People forget how difficult it is to dream up a whole world!
