Julie Nguyen at Misu.juju is a multi-talented illustrator and printmaker based in Melbourne. As soon as I saw Julie's work I knew I had to have it in the shop! Misu.juju's range spans across so many forms of printmaking and really proves Julie's mastery of colors, texture, form and cuteness! From lino, risograph and illustration - Julie does it all!
Why I Love It
Misu.juju's risograph style has such a unique quality to it. This print has such a pleasing, handmade textural element to it with the bleeding edges and the overlapping colors, it really gives the print so much character. The composition also reminds me of a layered painting of a mountianous landscape, except in this case, the mountains are rabbits and the clouds are billowing steam from the tea!
